It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Lee Charles of Salt Lick, Kentucky, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Johnson and Ella Pearl Armstrong Johnson; her siblings, Ralph Johnson, Hansford Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Avonia Crouch and Nell McKenzie; her son Michael Wayne Charles; her granddaughter Samantha Charles; her great grandchild Mark Richard Barlow, Jr. (Charles); her children, Judith Ann Peace (Larry) of Richmond, Virginia and Rickie Lee Charles (Alberta) of Salt Lick; her grandchildren, Lori Barlow, Brian Charles, Dr. Michelle Peace-Barry, Kevin Scott Peace and Joshua David Charles; her great grandchildren, Scott Michael Barlow, Matthew Charles Barlow, Caleb Charles, Gabriel Carmack and Winter Charles; her great great grandchild Michael James Barlow; and also, Jessica Elizabeth Charles and Zachary Sean Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Charles; and her sisters, Opal Jones of Mt. Sterling and Barbara Armstrong of Morehead. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other dear family members.
