She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie D. Kennedy and Nancy Myrtle McNabb Kennedy; her husband Otice Meadows; her son Russell Meadows; and her grandson Kevin Lance McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Melody Lambert (Gary) of Morehead, KY, Dawn McClurg of Salt Lick, KY, John Meadows of Salt Lick, KY, Harley Meadows of Salt Lick, KY, Steve Meadows (Robyn) of Salt Lick, KY and Derreck McClurg (Jessica) of Chattanooga, TN; and her cousins, Lois, Eddie Collins and Johnny Wages. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several cousins.
