Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gerald "Jack" Kokas and Ernestine Lewis Kokas; and his wife Janice Lambert Kokas. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Kokas (Jenni Salamon) of Columbus, Matthew Kokas (Gabriela) of Louisville and Lance Kokas of Flatwoods, Kentucky; his sister Lisa Neile Kokas of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and the mother of his children Ruthie Webb. He is also survived by several cousins; and other extended family.
