James Shively Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Shively (Salt Lick, Kentucky), born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on May 1, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Shively and Margaret Vielhauher Shively; his sisters, Lou Lowry and Gail Shively; his nephew Jake Lowry; and his father-in-law Alva Mefford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mefford Shively; his children, Jamie Helburg (Nathan), Susan Tarr (Chris Schug), Regina Wright (Scott) and Chris Shively; his sister Helen Ann Trout (Don); and his brother-in-law Allen Lowry. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic all services will be private and under the care and direction of Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.
