It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corey Travis Maynard of Salt Lick, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his uncles, Buddy Charles and Kevin Maynard; his great-grandparent Juanita Charles; and his grandmother Carol Kirk. He is survived by: his mother Melissia Charles Kirk; his stepfathers, Eddie of Salt Lick and Tim Maynard of Georgetown; his siblings, Tyler Maynard of Morehead and Kenna Maynard Barker (Austin) of Mt. Sterling; his grandparents, Kenneth, Amy Charles of Morehead and Anna Rhea Ray of Phelps; his nieces and nephews, Charlie Maynard and Zander Barker; his sister-in-law Amanda Maynard; his uncle Scooter Larry Charles (Melinda); his cousins, Easton and Maddux of Morehead; his aunts and uncles, Steve Maynard (Lisa) of Georgetown, Joey Maynard (Angie) of Georgetown, Stephanie May (Keith) of Belfrey, Sandy Marcum (Ran) of Belfrey and Sandy Bevins (Jim) of Belfrey; his close friends, Leslie and Whitney Slone; and also, Landon of Morehead, Rayla of Morehead and Dawn Kissinger of Morehead. He is also survived by cousins, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals to assist with funeral expenses.
