He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart West and Ruby White West; his son Eric West; his grandson Andrew Tripp West; and his brother R. A. West.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jones West; his children, Adam West (Bethany) of Hurricane, WV, Katie Poore (Todd) of Jacksonville, FL, Phillip West of Mt. Sterling, KY, Lauren Testerman (Jared) of Crittenden, KY and Andrew Joseph West (Kelli) of Sidney, KY; and his sister Christine West-Sullivan of Frankfort, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren and nephews.
