He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Richard and Annie Young (Rustin); his wife Judy Young (Appel); his son Terry Lee Young; his grandson Aaron Nolan; and his siblings, JoAnn Long, Mona Blake, June Norman, Aretta Stevenson, Wanetta Stevenson, Edna Middelton, Richard and James Young.
He is survived by: his children, Kristie Guess (Pat) of Marion, Karen Nolan (Marty) of Salem and Johnie Young (Christina) of Salem; and his siblings, Sue Young Belt of Marion, Connie Cowan (Dewey) of Marion, Bonnie Penn of Owensboro and Stanley Young of Marion. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
