We bid farewell to Martha G. Smith of Salem, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Martha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her former husband Carroll "Smitty" Smith; her sisters, Linda Sue Champion and Donna Jean Strong; and her parents, Cecil Strong and Gyneth Strong (Guess).
She is survived by: her husband Nascar; her nephews, Steve Champion (Eugena) of Salem, Scott Champion of Salem and Ricky Belt (Shanda) of Madisonville; her niece Misty Roberts (David) of Marion; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison Champion of Marion, Megan Roberts of Marietta, GA, Emily Carver (Richard) of Owensboro, Taylor Champion (Masa) of Smithland, Lane Champion of Salem, Trent Champion (Chloe) of Salem and Dustin Roberts of Paducah; and also, Jameson Champion and Carver.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services (212 E Main St, Salem, KY 42078). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
