He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Lincoln and Edy Reba Curnel Belt; and his grandson Robert Glen Belt, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Quertermous Belt; his children, Gregory Belt of Joy, Regina Taylor of Henderson, Stephen Belt of Salem, Tina Clark of Lewistown, Robert Belt (Carla) of Ledbetter, Karen Shockley (Barney) of Henderson and Joe Belt of Joy; and his siblings, Sammy Belt, Ailene Tabor, Bodene Belt (Judy) and Hurley Roy Belt (Alice).
