He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Porter; his father Leon Dae; and his sister Shari Ruschmeyer. He is survived by: his sons, Chad Porter (Tracy) of Paducah and Cory Porter of Salem; his mother Melva Porter of Salem; his siblings, Fleshia Birk of Hampton, Mitzi Vaughn of Salem, Greg Dae (Jenny) of Hampton and Tim Porter (Lisa) of Eustis; and his grandchildren, Emma Porter, Camron Porter and Chance Porter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services (212 E Main St, Salem, KY 42078). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
