It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Powell of Salem, Kentucky, born in Crittenden, Kentucky, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Bolen and Geneva Nora Belt Bolen; her husbands, R. D. Driver and Emmett Powell; and her sister Yvonne Hall.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Rose (Chris) of Burna, KY; her stepson Thomas Powell of Murphysboro, TN; her grandson John Rose; and her nephews, Bryan Hall (Keely), Chad Hall (Billie) and Alan Hall (Alison).
