He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey "Orb" Dunkerson and Wilma Riley Dunkerson; and his siblings, Glendal Vernon "G. V." Dunkerson, Aubrey, Jr., Mary Croft, Nelda DeWeese and Sandra "Sammie" Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Anthony "Tony" Dunkerson (April) of Salem; his grandchildren, Austin Dunkerson (Lillie) of Salem and Ashleigh Dunkerson of Paducah; his great grandchild Aurora of Salem; and his sister Velva "Bo" Jacobs of Ledbetter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services (212 E Main St, Salem, KY 42078). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
