With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edith Kathryn Brooks (Salem, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Guthrie Brooks; and her parents, Carty Bebout and Nettie Bebout (McElmurry). She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Croft (Rickey) of Marion, KY and Denise McNutt of Auburn, AL; her grandchildren, Kristee Shoulders of Marion, KY, Chad Croft of Lexington, KY, Chelsea Smith of Alpharetta, GA and Aaron McNutt of Marietta, GA; and her great grandchildren, Dalton Shoulders and Macye Shoulders of Marion, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or New Union Cemetery Fund c/o Vonda Todd.
