He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim LaRue and Mable LaRue; his wife Georgia LaRue (Ramage); and his siblings, Douglas LaRue and Jimmie Browning Miller.
He is survived by: his daughter Danna Simpkins (Don) of Mayfield; his grandsons, Brent Simpkins (Rachel) of Lexington and Jonathan Simpkins (Nikki) of Mayfield; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Simpkins of Mayfield and Nora Simpkins of Mayfield.
