He was predeceased by: his son Mike Barr; and his sisters, Mildred Herbst and Irene Hammer. He is survived by: his child Bernice Barr (Schueler); his daughter-in-law Paul Barr (Debbie); and his grandchild Angie Barr. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
