She was predeceased by: her siblings, Linda Gunnell, John "Buddy" Gunnell, Jr. and Sandy Miles. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her daughter Elaina; and her sister Beverly Kilkelly (Michael). She is also survived by three nieces.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Kentucky School for the Blind.
