She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Maria and Concepcion Mentes Vega. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Mattingly (Russell) of Saint Francis, Alica Salazar of Lebanon and Laura Salazar of Clarksville, Tennessee; and her brother Fernando Vega (Estella) of El Paso, Texas.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
