He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Johnson and Ruby Love Messamore Johnson; and his son Ricky Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carole Jones; and his children, Danny Johnson of St. Charles, Maye Stanley of White Plains, KY, Eddie Hallum of Princeton, KY, Jason Hallum of Princeton, KY, Tim McDonald of Madisonville, Melissa Harper of Nortonville, KY and Melania Harper of Mississippi. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
