She was predeceased by: her son Tony Mauzy; her parents, Hershel Higgs and Rethel Higgs; and her siblings, Chester Higgs, Freeman Higgs, Leroy Higgs, Bobby Higgs, Dorthy Higgs Johnson and Wanda Sue West.

She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Koon (Mark); her grandchildren, Chad Sallee, Kyle Stroud (Jessieca), Hunter Mauzy (Alex), Presley Mauzy and Fisher Mauzy; her great grandchildren, Adam Mauzy, Jasmine Mauzy, Braisyn Sallee, Bree Stroud and Eli Stroud; and her grandsons, Liam Mauzy and Waylon Mauzy.
