He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cardwell and Zena Mae Rogers Cardwell; and his siblings, Joe D. Cardwell and Marry Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Cardwell; and his siblings, Ernie Cardwell (Judy) of Hazel Green, James Cardwell, Jr. (Sarah) of Calhoun, Sheila Haire of Calhoun and Virginia Morales (Alex) of Livermore.
