It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennifer Louise (Shanks) Austin of Sacramento, Kentucky, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shanks and Anna Shanks; and her sisters, Rita Payton and Debra Shanks. She is survived by: her close friend Tommy Sheets; her children, Anna Torres (Scott) and Leroy William Smith Jr. (Charlotte); her grandchildren, Calvin Lee Davenport III, Brianna Nicole Davenport, Keena Nicole Scott (Shawn), Dalton Wayne Smith and Selena Brooks (Cody); and her sisters, Brenda Whitmer (Marvin), Paulette West (George) and Carlotta Biggs (Wayne). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
