She was predeceased by: her parents, George Arthur and Cecil Elizabeth Adams Henson; her former husband Joseph Emery Keown; her husband Herman Elsworth Patterson; her son Ronald Lee Keown; her siblings, George H. Henson and Betty Henson Olson; and her stepsons, H. E. Patterson, Jr., Delbert Patterson, Arthur Patterson, Carl Patterson and Leon Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry J. Keown (Betty) of Beech Grove, Shirley Medley (Rick) of Beech Grove and Rida Buddee (Jim) of Robards; her stepdaughter Mary Nell Seddon (Vernon) of Evansville; and her grandchildren, Larry "Joey" Keown, Alisha Williams (Gary), Chad Medley, Liz Stanley Smart (John) and Ryan Stanley (Shawnda). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 19 step grandchildren; 44 step great grandchildren; 52 step great great grandchildren; and a step great great great grandchild.
