She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Mencer and Rena Mencer; and her siblings, Leonard Mencer, Kenneth Mencer and Patty Vincent.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Ashby; her daughters, Cindy Reynolds (Clay), Donna Scott (Gary) and Sabrina Ashby-Pogue (Eddie); her grandchildren, Brad, Brandon, Adam, Tabatha, Caleb, Charity and Reid; and her siblings, Freida Vaught and Glendel Mencer. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
