With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney M. Evans of Ryland Heights, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Evans and Elitha Evans (Moore); and his siblings, James, Dalton, Harold, Keith, Doug, Ray Evans, Betty Farmer and Christine Walters.

He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Bellamy (Oscar) and Sharon Due (Steve); his sisters, Sue Wagers (Roy) and Drenda McCowan (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Kevin Colwell (Sarah), Ryan Due, Melissa Rechtin (Ben), Kristin Honaker (Rick), Klarissa Kirschbaum and Katrina Duncan. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
