He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton True and Betty True (Scroggins). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Sara True; his grandson Mason Rudd; his sister Vicki True; his niece Ashley Coppage; his nephew Shane Coppage; his aunt Nancy Scroggins; and his uncle Bud Goodrich.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY 41015).
