He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Knox and Marie Allen (Etheridge). He is survived by: his wife Glenda Willis Allen; his daughter Chelsea Allen (Daniel) of Russellville; his grandson Sawyer Van Parks; and his siblings, Glen Allen of Springfield, TN, Winn Allen of Russellville, Connie Allen of Deerlick, Phyllis Cottrell of Lewisburg and Rita Archer of Oden, IN..

The family ask that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
