He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Samson and Felcie Lucille Holder (Allen); his son Michael Shane Holder; and his brothers, Bobby Holder, Russell Holder and Glenn Holder.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Holder; his children, Robert Glenn Holder (Crystal Gayle) of Russellville and Candi Jean Ayers (Matthew) of Russellville; and his sisters, Margaret Adler of Russellville, Virginia Sanford of Russellville and Judy Hardin (David) of Auburn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel (1600 Nashville St, Russellville, KY 42276). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Red Oak Grove Cemetery (515 W 9th St, Russellville, KY 42276).
