He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard Porter, Sr. and Gladys Mardell Porter (Hudson); his wife Carol Yvone Porter; his brothers, Michael Wayne Porter and Harold Richard Porter, Jr.; and his stepdaughters, Susan Miller and Jennifer Milam.
He is survived by: his caregiver Lisa Perdue Harper; his nephew Daniel Porter (Frances Kinnison) of Auburn; and his nieces, Becky Chandler (Brandon) of Lewisburg, Emilee Hudspeth of Russellville and Jennifer Lynn Boyer of Ohio.
