He is survived by: his wife Ruth Grinter of Russellville, KY.; his children, Harry Townsend of Russellville, KY, Robert Eugene Grinter (Phillis) of Kansas City, MS., Lillian Miles (Bobby) of Russellville, KY and Teresa Beard of Chattanooga, TN.; his siblings, James Grinter of Russellville, KY, John Grinter of Russellville, KY. and Lillie Herndon of Russellville, KY.; his grandchildren, Lesley Beard, Johnathan Barbee, Tenesha Miles, David Townsend Jr. and Travis Townsend; and his great grandchild Robert Leslie Grinter.
