It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Frances Hanson of Russellville, Kentucky, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amador Martinez and Antonia Salinas; her husband Stanley Lee Hanson; her siblings, Amador Martinez, Terasito Martinez and Deloris Rodriguez; and her grandson Joshua Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Hanson (Thelma) of Laredo, Steve Hanson of Russellville, Stanley Hanson (Kimberly) of Clarksville, Mike Hanson (Connie) of Adams, Tennessee, Elsa Jones of Russellville and Cynthia Craige of Russellville; and her brother Juan Martinez of Laredo, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
