It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Ann Slaton of Russellville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Ann Slaton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Rayburn Akin and Dorsie Pearl Webster Akin; her husband Wendell N. Slaton; her son Stanley Slaton; and her grandson Caleb Slaton.
She is survived by: her children, Stewart Slaton (Dawn) of Bowling Green, KY, Shawn Wendell Slaton of Bowling Green, KY and Sheila Cunningham (Scott) of Russellville, KY; her daughter-in-law Kandi Slaton of Russellville, KY; her sister Charlene Piper of Russellville, KY; her sister-in-law Marilyn Slaton of Russellville, KY; and her special friend Don Williams of Epley Station, KY. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Summers and Son Funeral Home (210 Thurston Dr, Russellville, KY 42276). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at the Maple Grove Cemetery (515 W 9th St, Russellville, KY 42276).
