He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Talmage Monroe and Lillian Rhea Monroe (Banton); his wives, Belinda Monroe (White) and Bobbie Monroe (Blackford); and his brother Martin Rhea Monroe.
He is survived by: his daughter Echo Ferguson (Richard) of Russellville, KY.; his stepchildren, Bruce Haley of Auburn, KY, Lewis Lyons (Becky) of Washington, Christina Blake of Russellville, KY, Caron White (Keith) of Campbellsville, KY and Wendy Ravencraft of Hopkinsville, KY.; his siblings, William Oliver Monroe of Bowling Green, KY. and Georgia Sue Rogers of Oxford, MS.; his grandchildren, Lilly Ferguson, Lexi Ferguson Ryder Ferguson, Aaron Arnold, Martin Blake, Brittany Haley, Bryant Haley, Erica Nelson (Chandler), Heather Wade (John), Ian Ravencraft and Ashley Lyons; and his great grandchildren, Charlie Wade, Auggie Wade, Conleigh Wade and Eleanor Haley.
In Lieu of Flowers the family requests that donations be made to Young Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses, envelopes will be available at the church.
