He was predeceased by: his father Robert Blanton; and his brothers, Dick, Bill, Fred, Charlie, Tom and Darrell Blanton.
He is survived by: his wife Freida Blanton (Hayes); his stepchildren, Travis Madison (Jessica) of Brownsville and Dana Alice Burnam (Ryan) of Bowling Green; and his grandchildren, Aiden, Ella, Emory and Brinlee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Logan County Humane Society.
