She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Taylor and Henrietta Taylor; her husband Barbee Forte; and her children, Mable L. Forte and James Forte.
She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Spencer Jr. (Winnora), Bernice Forte and Thomas Forte; and her daughter-in-law Aletha Britt. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.
