He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Moses and Flossie McCoy (Mayhew); his wife Billie McCoy (Hankins); his son Terry McCoy; and his siblings, Ezra McCoy, Shelby McCoy, Neron McCoy, Wilbur McCoy, Leonard McCoy, Fred McCoy, Lottie Peay and Audrey Peay.
He is survived by: his children, David McCoy (Susan) of Goodlettsville and Debbie Britt (Danny) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Holly, Dan, Shane Ann and Claude David; and his great grandchildren, Crandal, Traven, Wade, Trenton and Colton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
