He was predeceased by: his brother Gary Daniel Snell; and his nephew Matthew Daniel Snell. He is survived by: his parents, Woodsen Earl "Woody" and Gloria Jean Snell (Atchley); his stepdaughters, Rachel of Russellville and Rebecca Brummett of Russellville; his niece Shelby Rose Porter; his great-niece Jayden Rose; and his great-nephew Gavin Matthew.

The family has asked that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation.
