It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Calvin Buchanan of Russellville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Buchanan and Lucy Buchanan (Claunch); his wife Rena Kay Buchanan (Stallard); and his brother Ephraim Buchanan, Jr. (Althene Buchanan). He is survived by: his nieces, Debbie Thompson (Hugh) and Shelia Blakley (John); his nephew Doug Buchanan (Kellie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Stephanie Barca (Nick), Andrea Smith (Jason), Ryan Thompson (Dee), Amanda Kirk (Eric), Andrew Blakley (Rachael), Luke Buchanan (Katelynn) and Ben Buchanan (Katherine); and also, Colin, Victor Barca, Quintin, Ethan Kirk, Caleb Blakley, Elena, Vivienne Thompson, Hannah, Caroline and Claire Smith. He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
Due to COVID concerns, the family will have a private service and Mr. Buchanan will be buried at Science Hill Cemetery.
