He was predeceased by: his parents, Orian Herman and Ruby Lillian Hammond (Boyd); and his brothers, Douglas Hammond and William Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Hammond; and his daughters, Michele Barrass (Greg) of Springfield and Laura Hammond of Westmorland. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Lions Club.
