She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Hardison and Carrie Ruth Hardison (Cornelius); her husband Paul Newman Shelton, Sr.; her son Ronnie Shelton; and her siblings, James Hardison, Kenneth Hardison, Bill Hardison and Shirley Seals.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Shelton, Jr. of Russellville, Charles Shelton (Sheila) of Russellville, Bo Hardison of Auburn, Connie Vaughn (Freddie) of Lewisburg, Paulette Canler (Ronnie) of Auburn and Sue Hopkins of Russellville; and her sister Imogene "Jean" Gibson of Russellville. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
