William C. Hopkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William C. Hopkins of Russell, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Hopkins and Myrtle Hopkins; his daughter Kim Hopkins; and his siblings, Ernie Hopkins, John Hopkins, Katy Hopkins Bartram and Mary Jane Hopkins Waggoner.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Greene Hopkins; and his daughters, Carman Roberts (Rick) and Carol Henderson (Darrall). He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carman Funeral Home (2301 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY or Russell Senior Center, 520 Bellefonte St. P.O. Box 394, Russell, Ky 41169.
