He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dale and Garnett Ann Coleman Reed; and his former wife Uva Mae Reed. He is survived by: his wife Darla Engle Reed; his children, Todd D. Reed, Matthew D. Scofield and Staci Scofield Clark (Todd); his brother Jerry G. Reed (Joyce); and his granddaughters, Ann Marie Mendiola and Ava Grace Long.
