He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester P. Cooksey and Dova E. Fields Cooksey; and his wife Jean Ann Fulks Cooksey. He is survived by: his children, Rex David Cooksey (Lisa) of Westwood, Kevin Cooksey of Westwood and Kelly White (Russ) of Richmond; his brother Jon D. Cooksey of Naples, Florida; his grandchildren, Derek Cooksey, Brett Cooksey, Brooke Knipp (Ryan), Allyson Engle (Tyler), Meredith Floyd (Jon) and Landon White; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Ryan Cooksey, Leah Knipp, Jonah Knipp, Nora Engle, Ella Engle, Olivia Engle, Gareth Floyd, Delaney Floyd and Teagan Floyd. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
