It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Corey of Russell, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John C. Sr. Corey; and his sisters, JoAnna Nolen and Jennifer Corey. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Powers Corey of Russell, KY; his sons, Chris Corey (Emily) of Nashville, TN and Michael Corey of Russell, KY; and his grandchildren, Christin Corey, Carmin Corey, Elijah Corey, Easton Corey and Emma Grace Corey. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
