He was predeceased by: his parents, Larkin Popplewell and Cora F. George Popplewell; and his siblings, Herbert, Londo, Curtis, Donald Popplewell, Zilma Morton and Faye Stephens.
He is survived by: his sister Marie Badgley of Russell Springs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
