He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bryson Sr. and Norma McDowell Bryson; and his sister Patrica Belle Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Joy Lee Evans Bryson; his children, Melisa Thompson (L. Allan) of Russell, KY, Laura Allred (Don) of Burlington, NC, Anita Jo Bryson of Russell, KY and Frank Bryson III (Suzanne) of Arden, NC; his grandchildren, Nathan Rice (Kristin), Samantha Ashby (Taylor), Ryan, Alyssa Cooksey (Brett), Jessica Walker (Cody), Joshua Bryson, Forrest Bryson and Foster Bryson; his great grandchildren, Kate E. Ashby, June E. Ashby and Jaxon C. Walker; and his sister Julia Ann Bentley (Luke).
