He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Bessie Murl Polston Anderson; and his great grandchild Hunter Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Judy Johnson Anderson of Russell Springs; his children, Keith Anderson (Susan) of Russell Springs, Janet Brant (Mike) of Russell Springs and Amy Helton (Jeff) of Jamestown; and his sisters, Pam Jones (Charlie) of Morristown and Patsy Jones of Dryden, Virginia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
