She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Hammond and Alpha Smith Hammond; her husband William "Bill" Hopkins; and her siblings, Ruby Cooper, Robert Hammond and Joseph Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, R. L. Luttrell (Sherry) of Columbia, Joan George of Russell Springs and Jean Waddell of Russell Springs; and her sisters, Betty Stephens and Willodean Richardson. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or to the Alzheimer's Association.
