It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Lawter of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lawter Sr. and Helen Deann Troutner Lawter; and his mother-in-law Vester "V. L." (Marie Meece). He is survived by: his wife Denise Meece Lawter; his children, Ronnie Lee Lawter, Jr. (Rachel) of Jamestown, KY and Mackenzie Elizabeth Lawter (Trevor Strunk) of Nancy, KY; his siblings, Charles "Bubba" Lawter, Jr. (Tarina) of Russell Springs, KY, Tammy McElfresh (Raymond) of Russell Springs, KY and Sharon Dupee (Brian) of Liberty, KY; and his grandchildren, Ellora Bea Lawter, Ezra James Strunk and Shepherd Wade Lawter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
