It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Bernard of Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse A. Bernard and Crella Jane Wilson Bernard; his former wife Billie Williams Bernard; his wife Freida Gosser Bernard; and his daughter Pam Glessing.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Hickman of Palmer, AK and Denise Whitaker (James) of McKee; and his siblings, David Bernard (Martha) of Paintsville, Paul Bernard (Arlene) of Russell County and Liz Flanigan of Jamestown. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, graveside services will be held privately for family only Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Lucinda Cemetery with Brother Lindsey Cornett officiating.
