He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan G. Emerson and Mary Lois Bradley Emerson; his nephew Adam Venson Rexroat; and his cousin Erik Brandon Emerson. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Emerson of Russell Springs and Kathy Rexroat (Vic) of Russell Springs; his nephews, Joel Emerson of Russell Springs, Alex Rexroat (Mandi) of Russell Springs and Andrew Rexroat (Katy) of Russell Springs; his niece Jackie Cochran (Tyler) of Crocus; his great-nephews, Jackson Emerson, Adam Rexroat and Bryant Rexroat; his great-niece Adeline Rexroat; his uncle Jimmy Bradley; and his aunts, Janis Phelps (Gary) and Eldene Emerson. He is also survived by many cousins and other family members.
